Relay for Life

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, is a 24 hour walk fundraiser. Various types of cancer benefit from the proceeds. My mother participated this year in Ojai, CA, and my step father played in a band providing entertainment. They wore purple wristbands for Pancreatic Cancer. Along the track were placed luminaria, each dedicated to a cancer survivor or in memory of someone lost to cancer.
